Oil-Rite manufactures Lubrication Systems specifically to customer requirements. All systems are engineered, designed, manufactured and fully tested at Oil-Rite. This is an example of a custom built Circulating Oil System.
This Circulating Oil System has dual cast iron gear pumps, each providing 10 gallons per minute at 100 PSI. The dual 2 HP, 1735 RPM, TEFC motors are operated by 3 phase power at 230/460V 60Hz.
The 50 gallon capacity reservoir (not pictured) is constructed with welded steel. A top filler cap makes filling the reservoir quick and simple. The filler cap is equipped with an air filter and liquid strainer to help maintain liquid quality. A 100 mesh stainless steel suction filter inside the reservoir helps filter larger debris. A baffle in the tank separates sediment and reduces turbulence. There are (2) 2” Female NPT return connections and (2) 1” NPT drains.
A liquid level gage on the outside of the reservoir features a dial thermometer displaying temperatures from 0° to 250° F, allowing visual check of liquid level, condition, and temperature at a glance.
This system is plumbed for continuous operation with (2) filters. The 150 micron stainless steel filters feature replaceable elements, allowing one filter to be serviced while maintaining continuous system operation using the duplicate filter. Dual differential pressure gages and switches are provided to monitor circulation and signal an alarm caused by high levels of filter contamination.
An air cooled heat exchanger maintains a constant oil supply temperature. The heat exchanger used with this Circulating Oil System removes approximately 32,000 BTU/HR; oil comes in at about 140° and circulates out at 125°. The fan motor is 1 HP, 1725 RMP, TEFC and operated by 3 phase power at 230/460V 60Hz.
This lubrication system features a steel, NEMA 4 electrical enclosure containing motor logic and control circuitry, system status lights, start and stop switches, et cetera.
This system is approximately 60 inches wide, 36 inches in depth, and 62” in height.
