Universal (Bulls-Eye) Sight Feed Valves allow visual observation of the liquid stream from a distance, with the volume of flow controlled by an adjustable needle valve. The bulls-eye sight feed valve has excellent flow characteristics with low pressure drop. These units are principally used on gravity or pressure lubricating systems of larger machinery where considerable capacities of oil must be dispensed. The sturdy construction makes them especially suitable for paper mill machinery, steel mills, rolling mills, sugar mills, steam and gas engines, gear units, etc. Their use can be extended to any application requiring adjustable, visible flow control.

  • Small sight feed valve compilation

Small Sight Feed Valves allow visual observation of the liquid stream, with the volume of flow controlled by an adjustable precision control needle valve. These units are principally used on gravity or pressure lubricating systems for bearing lubrication on machinery.  Their use can be extended to any application requiring adjustable, visible flow control.

Multiple Sight Feed Valves allow visual observation of the liquid stream, with the volume of flow controlled by an adjustable precision control needle valve. The simple-to-use modular design allows the compact unit to be changed by stacking valves together.  These units are especially suitable for lubricating inaccessible spaces and widely separated points. They are principally used on gravity or pressure lubricating systems in a variety of industries such as chemical mining, paper, agricultural, marine, woodworking, and textile.  The sight feed valves can also be used to lubricate equipment like pumps, compressors, machine tools, bearings, seals, punch presses and rollers. Their use can be extended to any application requiring adjustable, visible flow control.

  • B1835-11B1S1206W Adjustable Sight Feed Valve

Sight Feed Valves With Shutoffs allow visual observation of the liquid stream.  An adjustable precision needle valve controls the flow rate; it has a friction lock to guard against loosening from vibration. The flow rate can be adjusted from an extremely low drop rate to a stream. These valves are especially useful when small quantities of liquid are needed. Their use can be extended to any application requiring adjustable, visible flow control.

  • B748-3

Heavy Duty Sight Feed Valves are similar to Small Sight Feed Valves but feature larger orifices.  The valves allow visual observation of the liquid stream, with the volume of flow controlled by an adjustable precision control needle valve. These units are principally used on gravity or pressure lubricating systems, including steam and gas engines, paper and sugar mill machinery, and many others.  Their use can be extended to any application requiring adjustable, visible flow control.

  • Valve Brush Compilation

Valve brushes are available in various shapes, sizes, bristle material, and mounting configurations.  A sight feed valve comes attached to the valve brush to regulate the flow of oil at the lubrication point.  For replacement brushes or lubrication lines controlled by an upstream valve, see "Shank Brushes".

Pressure Compensated Constant Flow Control Valves are used in low pressure lubricating systems.  The flow rate stays constant through changes in pressure.  These valves do not require frequent adjustment and are especially suitable for use in automated plants, for elevated, distant, or hard to get at places.  The various models have fixed flow rates that vary from 3 ounces per minute to 1 gallon per minute.  The flow rate remains constant within plus or minus 20% for 3 to 9 ounces per minute, and within plus or minus 10% for 1 pint to 1 gallon per minute.  This accuracy can be maintained with varying pressures, ranging from 15 PSI minimum to 125 PSI maximum, and with any oil having a viscosity of 400 SSU minimum to 750 SSU maximum.

Pressure Compensated Adjustable Inline Constant Flow Control Valves feature an adjustable flow rate that stays constant through changes in pressure.  The flow rate is adjustable from 3 oz per minute to 1 GPM, and is accurate within plus or minus 10%.  These valves are available with or without a sight chamber, and with T-handle or tamperproof adjustment.

The solenoid operator is used with Oil-Rite electro lubricators, chain lubricators, and valves.  Solenoid Valve Operators feature a rugged construction designed to require an absolute minimum amount of maintenance and repair.  The coil is permanently molded into the steel housing for a durable, water resistant construction.  The standard model features Buna-N plunger seat and seals (ethylene propylene and Viton seals are also available).  The nominal power consumption is 7 watts.

Solenoid Shutoff Valves are compact and suited for applications requiring rapid open and closed action. The 2 way solenoid valve is normally closed; when a current is applied to the solenoid, the valve port opens and automatically closes again when the current shuts off.  The valves operate in any position and are particularly useful in automated plants and hard to reach locations.  These valves are meant for continuous duty; flow cannot be adjusted.

Explosion Proof Shutoff Solenoid Valves are for applications requiring rapid open and closed action. The 2-way, third wire ground solenoid valve is available normally closed or normally open.  The valve has a corrosion resistant stainless steel body.  These Explosion Proof Solenoid Shutoff Valves are UL listed and CSA certified for hazardous locations: Class I, division 1, groups C and D; and class II, division 1, groups E, F, and G, and division 2, groups A, B, C, D, E, F, and G.

  • A4454 Precision Relief Valves

Precision Relief Valves are used as a safety device on reservoirs where a certain maximum pressure should not be exceeded.  Their use can be extended to any application demanding pressure be relieved at a specific value.  The valves have a fixed upper pressure rating held within plus or minus 5 PSI accuracy.  The setting for the upper limit is tamperproof and cannot be adjusted.  The relief pressures can be reduced and locked at any setting.
