Side Viewing Aluminum Liquid Level Gages can be used to view liquid levels in hydraulic reservoirs, tanks, large steel mill pumps, gearboxes, bearing housings, crankcases, transformers and machinery oil reservoirs. Their use can be extended to many industrial liquid level viewing applications.

This sturdy gage is made of corrosion and rust resistant milled aluminum. The end pieces are permanently secured through a staking process. Leak-proof construction is achieved with Buna-N seals. Viton seals are available upon request. The liquid viewing sight is glass. The unit tolerates up to 175 PSI and 225° F.

This gage has the viewing area oriented at a 90° angle to the tank. It can be installed with the viewing area facing either the left or the right hand side.

Fluid enters through the cross hole in the hollow lower bolt. The gage is vented into the tank through the top bolt. The length between the center of the two bolts is referred to as the centerline. The distance between the center of the tank holes must be within 1/32” of the centerline measurement. This gage is mounted from the front of the tank with (2) 1/2"-20 aluminum bolts. The mounting bolts should be torqued to 90 in-lbs.

Note: The image provided displays a gage with a 12” centerline measurement. This item has a 28” centerline and is mounted from the front of the tank with (2) 1/2"-20 aluminum bolts.
