Standard Nylon Liquid Level Gages have aluminum alloy end blocks and a Trogamid nylon sight that is clear and durable.Liquid level and clarity can be viewed from all angles.A red line on the back of the sight enhances liquid level visibility. Fluid enters through the cross hole in the hollow lower bolt. The gage is vented into the tank through the top bolt. Standard Nylon Liquid Level Gages can be used to view liquid levels in hydraulic reservoirs, tanks, large steel mill pumps, gearboxes, bearing housings, hydraulic equipment, crankcases, transformers and machinery oil reservoirs.Their use can be extended to any industrial liquid level viewing applications.
Nylon Liquid Level Gages with Dial Thermometers are for any application requiring visual indication of both liquid level and liquid temperature.Temperature is indicated in both degrees Fahrenheit and Celsius on the large thermometer. The Trogamid nylon sight is clear and durable.Liquid level and clarity can be viewed from all angles.A red line on the back of the sight enhances liquid level visibility. Fluid enters through the cross hole in the hollow lower bolt. The gage is vented into the tank through the cross hole in the top bolt. The length between the center of the two bolts is referred to as the centerline. This gage is available with centerlines from 3" to 36".
These Nylon Liquid Level Gages feature shutoff stems that can be adjusted to stop fluid flow into the gage. This can be used as a precautionary measure if breakage is a concern.Should the gage need to be replaced, the plated steel hex nuts unscrew from the front and the gage can be removed without draining the tank.Once a gage has been placed back onto the bolts and secured with hex nuts, the shut off valves can be opened and the gage will resume normal function. Centerlines are available from 3" to 36".
Nylon Liquid Level Gages with Adjustable Centerlines can accommodate centerline distances up to 1/4" longer or shorter than the specified measurement, for total adjustability of 1/2". This range of adjustability compensates for variances that can occur during the production of plastic tanks. It is also suited to field installations where the distance between mounting holes may be less precise than in a controlled setting.
