Hydracision® Patented Technology
Hydracision® distributes lubricant (10 to 80 wt. oil) to many separate points – as few as 12 and as many as hundreds. It combines Hydraulic movement of fluid with the precision of positive displacement injection. The technology is patented by Oil-Rite Corporation, a leader in the design and manufacture of lubrication equipment since 1933. Hydracision® supplies the user with options but doesn’t overwhelm with calculations, complex components, or pages of schematics. It’s simple to configure and use.

Features
This Hydracision® package features a standard 2 liter clear polycarbonate reservoir. Larger steel reservoirs with 4, 12, and 20 liter capacities are available. Synthetic fluids require use of a steel reservoir or a translucent 2 liter polypropylene reservoir. The reservoir housing contains the gear pump motor, which pressurizes the outlet for uniform fluid distribution. A 7/8” diameter hole provides access to the 120V/60Hz wiring (230V/50 Hz and 24 VDC models are also available). A PLC with a backlit programmable display allows selection of lubrication cycles. A green light flashes when the pump is priming and lights when the pump is cycling. A low level switch prevents operation when the oil supply is depleted. A red light flashes when the oil level is low and lights when the low oil level shuts down the system. A pressure gauge at the outlet provides visual confirmation of the hydraulic cycle. A swing-away filler cap houses a removable 40 mesh strainer to help maintain liquid quality.
For a diagram of the system components, reference the Hydracision® Brochure.
Injectors
This Hydracision® package includes (60) low output injectors, each with a dispensing volume of .08 ml. Connections for the injector inlet and outlet are 1/8” female NPT.
Injectors with larger dispensing volumes of .14 ml (medium output) and .20 ml (high output) are also available. The amounts do not have to be the same for each injector. If volume adjustments are necessary after installation, the cap at the inlet side of the injector can be replaced to change the dispensing amount.

Tubing and Fittings
Common tubing and fittings are used with Hydracision® and can be ordered separately. More Information.
Selection
Hydracision® packages are available in many configurations to accommodate a variety of lubrication requirements. The Reservoir Selection Table shows the number of 8 hour shifts between reservoir refills for a collection of reservoir sizes and injector quantities.
