Seals in PurgeX pumps normally operate over millions of cycles without significant wear. The majority of applications do not require seal replacement.
This Buna Seal Replacement Kit is suitable for PurgeX models:
· Other Externally Adjustable Motorized PurgeX models starting in “B3474-B4” or “B3475-B4,” of any voltage/frequency, and RPM, with bracket or electrical box.
PurgeX seals should be carefully replaced in a clean environment. Remove the current seals from the unit. Wash the remaining components with mineral spirits and allow them to dry completely. Apply a light coat of oil to the new seals before assembling. Step by step assembly instructions can be downloaded using the link on this page.
Note: If the evacuation valve (A7440-1) is removed from the assembly at any time, it must be replaced with a new evacuation valve or the warranty is void.
