Sight Feed Valves with Solenoid Shutoffs allow visual observation of the liquid stream.  An adjustable precision needle valve controls the flow rate; it has a friction lock to guard against loosening from vibration. The flow rate can be adjusted from an extremely low drop rate to a stream. These valves are especially useful when small quantities of liquid are needed. Their use can be extended to any application requiring adjustable, visible flow control.

Drop feeding can be observed through the glass viewing window in the valve body.  The valve sight chamber is vented to ensure proper flow and prevent airlock, withstanding up to 5 PSI DC and 10 PSI AC inlet to drip nozzle pressure.  The solenoid has a 1/2” NPT thread for connecting with conduit and is powered by 120V/60Hz (please consult factory for additional voltages and frequencies).  The valve features an aluminum alloy body, glass sight, Buna-N seals, and a 1/8" diameter port. Total height of the valve is 3 11/16”. An external 5/8”-18 thread on the outlet allows the valve to be mounted to a bracket using the nut.

This sight feed valve is suitable for temperatures up to 225° F.
