This 3-way Air Solenoid is used to operate PurgeX systems. It is powered by 24VDC. For additional voltages and frequencies, please consult factory.
Air-Operated PurgeX systems require that the 3-Way Air Solenoid be wired to a Programmable Cycle Timer. The Cycle Timer signals the solenoid to open the air passage from the inlet to the outlet. The air then travels from the solenoid to the Purgex pump(s), causing the PurgeX pump(s) to cycle. The third port exhausts, allowing the PurgeX piston(s) to return to a closed position when the solenoid is unpowered.
The 1/8” female NPT air inlet is labeled “1”, the 1/8” female NPT air outlet is labeled “2”, and the 3rd port is for exhaust and has no connections.
