Oil-Rite manufactures Lubrication Systems specifically to customer requirements.  All systems are engineered, designed, manufactured and fully tested at Oil-Rite.  This is an example of a custom built Circulating Oil System.

This Circulating Oil System has a gear pump providing 2 GPM minimum at 30 PSI. The 1/3 HP, 1725 RPM, TEFC motor is operated by 3 phase power at 230/460V 60 Hz.

The 10 gallon capacity reservoir is constructed of welded steel. A top filler cap makes filling the reservoir quick and simple. The filler cap is equipped with an air filter and liquid strainer to help maintain liquid quality. A baffle in the tank separates sediment and reduces turbulence. There is a 100 mesh aluminum suction filter inside the reservoir to filter larger debris. A low level switch in the reservoir can be wired to shut down machinery or turn on warning devices when the liquid supply fails or recedes to a predetermined level.

A 23 micron, 1,000 beta filter near the outlet helps maintain liquid quality. The filter features a spin-on element, making it easy to replace. A differential pressure gage and switch is provided to monitor circulation and signal an alarm caused by high levels of filter contamination.

This Circulating Oil System features an air cooled heat exchanger to help regulate liquid temperature. A stainless steel dial thermometer displays 0 to 250°F.

This Lubrication System features a NEMA electrical enclosure containing motor logic and control circuitry, system status lights, local start/stop switches, and customer interface connections.

Additional controls include:

  • A pressure gage displaying 0 to 60 PSI.
  • A check valve located at the system outlet to ensure fluid flows in only one direction.
  • A bypass relief valve used to set system output pressure, adjustable from 7 to 35 PSI.
  • A pressure switch adjustable from .5 to 80 PSI.
  • A temperature switch adjustable from 75 to 205°F.
  • A flow switch set at .5 GPM.

All Circulating Oil Systems are quoted specifically to customer requirements.  Pricing can be determined only after the Circulating Oil System Request Form (found on this page) is completed.  Contact the bearing manufacturer for information on the flow rate and fluid required.

Delivery is dependent upon supplier availability, lead times range from 4 to 10 weeks.
