Liquid Level Gages can be used to view liquid levels in hydraulic reservoirs, tanks, large steel mill pumps, gearboxes, bearing housings, crankcases, transformers and machinery oil reservoirs.  Their use can be extended to many industrial liquid level viewing applications.  This gage is specially configured.

This gage is constructed with sleek black anodized aluminum.  Laser engraved “full” and “add” liquid level marks are clearly visible against the black body of the gage.  There is a vertical red line behind the glass sight to further enhance liquid level visibility.  The viewing area intersects the corner of the gage, allowing the liquid level to be observed from both a front and side perspective.  Leak-proof construction is achieved with Viton seals.  The unit tolerates up to 250° F.

Fluid enters through the cross hole in the hollow lower bolt.  The gage is vented into the tank through the top bolt.   The length between the center of the two bolts is referred to as the centerline.  The distance between the center of the tank holes must be within 1/32” of the 8” centerline measurement.  This gage is mounted from the front of the tank with (2) 1/2”-20 black anodized aluminum bolts.  The bolts should be torqued to 90 in-lbs.
