Air Operated Spray Dispensers can be used to lubricate elevated, distant, or inaccessible points.  The central steel reservoir dispenses liquid to 1 or more spray nozzles.  The amount of liquid sprayed is adjustable from a fine spray, invisible to the eye, to a coarse spray.  Air Operated Spray Dispensers can be used to apply liquid to conveyors, chain drives, bull gears, trolley wheel bearings, wire rope, strip stock for punch presses, or any other application requiring a film of liquid.

A pressure regulator reduces incoming pressure to 30 PSI or under within the reservoir.  This adjustable, reduced air pressure forces the liquid through piping to separate control valves for dispensing or spraying.  Any liquid that flows can usually be sprayed, up to 1000 SSU viscosity at 100° F.  The lighter the liquid, the easier it is to spray.

The 2 ½ gallon painted steel reservoir is filled by removing the top cap.  A 40 micron liquid filter at the outlet helps maintain liquid quality.  The liquid capacity of the reservoir is 3 gallons per hour at 10 PSI.  A 5” centerline liquid level gage allows liquid level and condition to be viewed from the outside of the reservoir.  Buna-N Seals are used in this dispenser.  The unit tolerates temperatures up to 225° F.

The air capacity is 5 cubic feet per minute at 20 PSI.  This model features 1 air pressure regulator to regulate the incoming air to 30 PSI or under.  A safety relief valve ensures that the tank pressure does not exceed 30 PSI.  A ¼” female NPT air outlet (with pipe plug installed) can be utilized with an additional air pressure regulator to control air pressure to the spray valve(s).  Up to 4 Spray Valves may be used with this system. The amount of liquid dispensed can be controlled by adjusting the needle valve on the spray nozzle.

There is a 1/4” female NPT air inlet and a 1/4” female NPT liquid outlet.

The reservoir is 10” in diameter.   The width with the regulator is 13 5/16” (dimension C). Total height is 12 1/2”.   There are (4) 3/8”-24 mounting holes that can be accessed by unscrewing the feet of the unit.

For automatic operation, Solenoid Shutoff Valves are available.  Solenoid valves permit continuous or momentary spray application when used with a timer. Solenoid valves can also be wired across the line of a drive motor to turn the system on and off automatically with the drive.

This system requires Spray Valve(s), additional air regulation for the spray valves, and tubing/piping and fittings.
