Vented Elbow Brass Gages with Female Inlets can be used on oil bearings, gear boxes, crank cases, transformers, switches or any application requiring visual indication of liquid level.  The leak proof construction, large vent hole and unrestricted passages permit fast and accurate liquid level response.

The square shank with female pipe thread screws horizontally into a pipe nipple.  The gage can be disassembled for installation in very tight places.

This brass elbow gage features a 5/8” diameter glass sight protected by a shield.  The shield can be revolved to the most convenient position for viewing or taken off completely for cleaning.  A protected vent hole in the cap reduces the possibility of dust, dirt, or moisture getting inside the gage.  The gage uses only atmospheric pressure.  A Teflon washer reduces friction between the cap and the glass during installation and adjustments.  Buna-N seals are used. The unit tolerates temperatures up to 225° F.

This gage features a special cap with a 1/4" OD tube connection that can be used to vent the gage back into the reservoir.
