PurgeX “Ready to Go” lubrication systems are reliable, economical, and easy to install.  This system features 14 patented PurgeX pumps with a 3-way air solenoid, easy-to-fill polycarbonate reservoir, and programmable cycle timer.  The lubrication system is housed in a compact hinged-door Nema 12 enclosure, with the external reservoir allowing visual observation of the liquid level.  The system requires only compressed air, electricity, and lubricant to begin operation.  PurgeX pumps provide precise liquid delivery, reducing excess environmental contaminants as well as costs and hazards associated with wasted fluid.

PurgeX

 

PurgeX has the ability to deliver very small amounts of lubricant with each cycle and can be rapidly cycled for greater volumes; it is excellent for high speed applications.  Precise volumetric delivery is achieved with the positive displacement design.  Any entrapped air and other impurities are automatically purged from the system when the piston slightly over-travels the pump chamber with each cycle.  The net result is the ability to reliably deliver an exact amount of lubricant.  There is no “after drip,” which makes PurgeX a very effective lubrication solution where product contamination is a concern.  

  

The bank of 14 PurgeX pumps included in this system is operated with compressed air between 40 to 120 PSI.  The bodies of the pumps are made of anodized aluminum alloy and the units tolerate temperatures from -15° F to 180° F.  Buna-N seals are used (Viton seals are also available).  The liquid delivery per cycle is adjustable between 0 to .012 cubic inches.  The output of each pump can be independently and accurately adjusted by using the external knob located on each pump.  For additional information on the PurgeX pumps used in this system, click here.

 

“Ready to Go” Features

 

This "Ready to Go" Lubrication System has a 1/2 gallon polycarbonate reservoir externally mounted to the Nema 12 enclosure.  The clear, durable reservoir with a polypropylene base allows liquid levels to be easily viewed.  The reservoir can be simply and efficiently refilled using the self-closing filler cap. 

 

An adjustable, programmable cycle timer regulates lubrication intervals from .6 seconds to 24 hours.  The 3-way air solenoid is powered by 110V/50Hz or 120V/60Hz (for additional voltages and frequencies, please consult factory).  The solenoid has a 1/8” female NPT air inlet; this is the only air connection required to operate the lubrication system. 

 

The painted steel, hinged-door Nema 12 enclosure is 8” across, 10 ¾” in height, and 6 ¾” in depth.  The overall height of the unit (including the height of the reservoir) is 21 1/2".  The depth with the door open is about 16”.  For applications where moisture or water may come into contact with the equipment, Nema 4X enclosures are available upon request.  The lubrication system can be surface mounted using the (4) 5/16” diameter mounting holes.

 

This Ready to Go complete lubrication system is easy to install.  Simply secure the unit, connect compressed air, supply power to the solenoid, and route tubing from the outlets to the lubrication points.
